UseGroupDescription |
DWORD |
In all the operations requiring a name of a symbol, first its description will be used, if one does not it exist, its name will then be used. This search sequence can be inverted by leaving the default zero value, meaning that the symbol's name has priority over its description. this will change behaviours in various areas:
Note: The symbol name has priority over the description in build 1056 and onwards; while previous versions gave priority to the symbol's description. Therefore you will need to set this key to value 1 when wishing to restore previous behaviour. |

UseSIPSystemDialog |
DWORD32 |
This registry key (Default '0') set to the '1' value allows you to dynamically manage the value setting of the Windows "TurnOffAutoDeploy" Registry Key which is set to '0' every time a Windows system window is opened and closed. The "UseSIPSystemDialog" key used in Touch Screen Systems, such as Windows CE, permits you to overcome the problem of the "ShowSIP" Key whose value '0' forces the disabling of the Windows Virtue Keyboard in Touch Screen systems, when for example wishing to interact with a Display object by only using the Movicon Keyboard (Numeric or Alphanumeric Pad) while at the same time wishing to use a System Dialog, for esample when needing to set the name of a File from the Windows Resource Manager window, which cannot be done because the Windows Virtual Keyboard is disabled by "ShowSIP" key when set to the '0' value. Therefore, if the "UseSIPSystemDialog" key set with the ''1' value is added together with the "ShowSIP" key set with the '0' value, you will be able to dynamically manage the Numeric or Alphanumeric Pad in Display Objects without the Windows virtue keyboard being opened which, however, will open when a Windows System File dialog is opened. Note: The "ShowSIP" will have no effect when set to the '0' value in WIndows CE 7.0 Operating Systems and, therefore, you must set the "UseSIPSystemDialog" key to the '1' value. |
