In this tutorial you will learn how to install Pro.Energy™ software. The following is a key step to the proper use of the platform.
Procedure
Download of Pro.Energy software
In order to install Pro.Energy software, it is necessary to download
it. It is possible to obtain the trial version of the software from
the link below:
https://go.emersonautomation.com/proenergy-sftw-download
The link will open the following page:
Once all the data have been entered, an email will be sent with
the link for downloading the software to the email address given in
the form.
Clicking on the link Pro.Energy will be downloaded.
Installation of Pro.Energy software on Windows devices
Once the download of the installation setup of Pro.Energy is finished,
you can proceed with the installation.
First, start the setup by double-clicking on the executable "ProEnergyNext.exe".
In the window that has just appeared, choose the language in which
the software is to be installed.
In case of lack of some pre-requisites necessary for the correct
functioning of the software, the procedure will warn you of the possible
lacking and the installation will be paused until the necessary pre-requisites
are installed.
For example, if Movicon.NExT software, which is required for the operation
of Pro.Energy, does not appear to be installed, the installation procedure
will be suspended indicating the lack as in the following figures:
When the installation requirements are met, the setup proceeds showing the next window in which you must accept the terms of the license of the software. Click on the Next button to continue.
The next window starts the actual installation of the software. Click on the Next button to install Pro.Energy.
Once the installation is complete, click the Finish button to be able to finish the procedure.
