In this video we are going to describe what a driver is and how it works within the Movicon.NExTâ„¢ ecosystem.
Listed below are the values that the Status and Command variables can take within the General Settings of the Modbus TCP/IP driver taken as an example:
Bit 0: Load Command | 0 = Stand-by Status 1 = Force the driver to reload the tag's list from file |
Bit 1: Load Result | 0 = Load Operation Complete 1 = Load Operation Failed |
Listed below are the values that the Status and Command variables can take within the Channel Settings of the Modbus TCP/IP driver taken as an example:
Bit 0: Channel Connection State | 0 = Connected 1 = Not Connected |
Bit 1: Promary Host State | 0 = Active 1 = Inactive |
Bit 2: Backup Host State | 0 = Active 1 = Inactive |
Bit 3: Host in use | 0 = Primary 1 = Backup |
Bit 4: Switch Command | Command to switch host, from primary to backup and vice-versa |
