Movicon Help on Line - Rel. 11.7.1301
The Movicon 'DataLogger Window' is a configurable object designed to display recorded data from the Project's DataLoggers or Recipes. Data from local projects and remote stations (e.g. Server) connected in net can also be displayed.
The DataLogger Window object is available from the 'Special Objects' group in the "Objects Window".
When a DataLogger Window is placed on screen it will appear with its default size. Once on screen, it can be resized as pleased by dragging its borders with the mouse.
Each DataLogger Window can display data from one DataLogger or Recipe only and of which must be setup in the object's "Execution Properties".
As many DataLogger Windows in as many screens can be inserted within the project according to your specific requirements. |
The DataLogger or Recipe linked to the DataLogger Window can be dynamically changed at Runtime by using the object's appropriated Basic Script functions. |
At runtime, the 'Data Logger-Recipe Window' is capable of translating special "$(ID-String)" ID-Strings within the text of events saved as value text of a column of the Data Logger it is connected to.
To display ID-String in the Data Logger-Recipe window you will need to:
Create one or more String Columns in a Data Logger
Set the Data Logger in the 'Execution - Data Logger-Recipe' property belonging to the Data Loger-Recipe window
Set the ID-Strings in the String Table
At runtime, save the ID-String value text for each column in the specal "$(ID-String)" format
By doing this, when you open the Data Logger-Recipe window, the ID-Strings presented in the text displayed in the String Columns will automatically be translated according to the language currently used in the project.
The automatic translation of special ID-Strings in texts displayed in the Data Logger table columns has been implemented for the Movicon Grid object as well. |
