Movicon Help on Line - Rel. 11.7.1301
The Filling properties allow colored fillings to be set in proportion to the contents of the selected variable within draws and controls.
This property is part of the Draws and Controls 'Animation' properties group.
To edit the Filling properties, select the object with the mouse and use the Movicon 'Properties Window' that appears.
Enabling this property will activate the Filling function in the selected component. By doing this, the component will change its filling percentage in function with the assigned Filling Variable at Runtime.
The name of the variable, whose value will be used to fill the object with color in function with the 'Colour Threshold' set, is entered in this edit box (or selected with the "..." browse button on the right hand side). The object's filling color will change to a different one in function with the value of the variable entered here based on the filling percentage reached (in this case the same variable is to be set both in the Variable field and in the Variable Filling field).
This property is used to assign colors to the numeric values of the above described Variable to fill the object with. To do this, click on the "..." button to open the Color Threshold's configuration window. For further information, please refer to the paragraph on "Color Threshold Settings in Draws and Controls".
This property is used to enable a gradual transition from one color to another which involves an 'analog' mixture of the two colors at the point where the transition is executed. This gradual transition of color shades can only be achieved if intermediate values are entered in the two Variable value thresholds.
The name of the variable whose value is needed to set the object's filling percentage is inserted in this edit box (or selected by using the "..." browse button on the right).
The minimum and maximum values that the variable can obtain, of which are described below, are automatically scaled by Movicon to obtain a filling from 0% to 100% (completely empty to completely full). |
This property is used to enter the variable value which is to correspond to the 0% filling, that is no filling.
This property is used to enter the variable value which is to correspond to the 100% filling, that is completely filled with color.
This is used to enter the filling Offset value to be obtained by the object the Filling Variable is set with values lower than the one entered in the Start property. In this case, the object will be filled with a percentage that is in proportion to the difference between the Start value and Start Offset value.
This is used to enter filling Offset value to be objected by the object when the Filling Variable is set with values higher than the one entered in the End property. In this case, the object will be filled with a percentage that is in proportion to the difference between the End value and End Offset value.
This option box is used to set which direction the filling is to go when applied. The options are:
none
left-right
right-left
bottom-top
top-bottom
The "none" option means that no filling will be executed.
This property is used to enter the name of the variable to be used as the dynamic Start value (or selected with the "..." browse button on the far right). When a variable is entered here, the Start property will be ignored and the value contained in the selected variable will take its place.
This property is used to enter the name of the variable to be used as the dynamic End value (or selected with the "..." browse button on the far right). When a variable is entered here, the End property will be ignored and the value contained in the selected variable will take its place.
