Is there a data store-and-forward feature available in Pro.Lean?
When the connection to the database for data recording is lost, the Historian Manager will store the data in XML files. Once the database connection is restored, the XML files will be deleted, and the buffered data will be saved to the database by executing the pending query. This functionality is equivalent to a store-and-forward capability.
How long does it typically take (in weeks) to implement a Pro-Lean project for a small production line?
The duration of implementation largely depends on the number of machines in the line and the availability of data. A small line can be implemented quite rapidly, especially if automated using PLCs, typically within 1-2 weeks. Additional time may be necessary for customization if needed. If all the required data is readily available and the customer provides all the required details, the basic implementation can be accomplished in just a few hours.
Is it possible to install Pro.Lean as standalone software, or is Movicon.NExT or Connext required?
Pro.Lean requires a Movicon.NExT runtime installation and license. Please refer to the User Manual for additional details.
How does Pro.Lean contribute to cost reduction and efficiency improvement in company operations?
By integrating Movicon.NExT™ technology with Pro.Lean, companies can significantly reduce management, maintenance, and licensing costs associated with OEE systems. This allows for minimizing company investments while enhancing efficiency and productivity.
What customization options are available for the Pro.Lean dashboard interface?
The Pro.Lean dashboard interface is designed with modern ergonomics requirements in mind and is fully customizable. Its open technology allows for easy integration of additional plant visualization or display screens, as well as any other desired data visualization, providing flexibility to adapt to specific user needs.
What type of license does the Pro.Lean module require?
The Pro.Lean module requires a Movicon.NExT runtime license with the appropriate size for the required number of OEEs (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Are Microsoft SQL Server licenses included with the Pro.Lean module?
No, Microsoft SQL Server licenses are not included. An SQL Server Express can be used (does not require licenses).
